Visual Media is proud to say that we've been the only website development company that Applause Theatre & Entertainment Service, Inc. has ever used for the past 25+ years!

Applause is a ticket broker for Travel Agents and Theater Goers alike. They sell Broadway show tickets in New York, London, Las Vegas and around the world.

Visual Media has created several websites for them over our 25+ year relationship. This newest one was just released in 2022.

It features a database driven design that dynamically creates show pages, allowing us rapid development of pages and low website maintenance costs for Applause.

We tied their site to an e-commerce event ticketing platform allowing them to sell Broadway tickets online.

We also developed the site to be mobile friendly by making it installable on smart phones as a Progressive Web Application (PWA).

Visual Media also manages their intensive email marketing campaigns. We design, send, and monitor 2-3 emails per month to their over 15 thousand subscribers!

Mobile First

Visual Media took a mobile first approach when developing the newest website for Applause Theatre & Entertainment Service, Inc.

The new Applause-Tickets.com website sports a PWA (Progressive Website Application) that allows their customers to save the site to their phone's desktop, making it look and act like a mobile app. Their clients love the simple to use, fast loading mobile site.

Using PWA technlology allows Visual Media to update the mobile app in conjunction with the desktop website without the need to update apps via Apple's App store or Google's Play Store.

The website sports a PWA (Progressive Website Application) that allows their customers to save the site to their phone's desktop, making it look and act like a mobile app.

All of the websites we develop use a technique called “responsive design”, which means the page content and images dynamically resize to fit the size of the screen being viewed. This allows visitors a beautiful experience on tablets and mobile phones in addition to computer screens.
